Syria is said to persecute critical journalists internationally, German media involved

The "SPIEGEL" reports on March 11, 2017, citing the NDR, that hundreds of Germans are listet on a search list of the Syrian regime, including many journalists. In any event, those affected persons are avoiding Syria, Russia and Iran, because it is assumed that arrest warrants may also have been issued against them; nothing precise is known about this. Some journalists are said to be on the list who have reported for German media. With the help of such a search list, the regime is banishing critical journalists from the country.
