Extradition from Germany to Croatia is possible on the basis of a European arrest warrant, so that extradition to Croatia can also be considered for German citizens, but not for execution of sentence, only for prosecution. On the basis of an EU arrest warrant, a German citizen can only be extradited to a member state for criminal prosecution without his consent; after a conviction in Croatia, he is entitled to an execution of sentence in Germany.
