Although there is no extradition treaty between Germany and Bahrain, extradition to Bahrain is possible. It can be verified whether there are sufficient grounds for suspicion.
In 2014 there was a single extradition request from Bahrain to Germany, none in previous years.
In Germany, provisional extradition detention could be ordered against foreigners before receipt of the complete extradition documents, if it appears in an individual case, that extradition to Bahrain is even possible.
